<신기도원>은 가상 락밴드 ‘신기전’을 축소된 유리구 안에 배치하여 전통성과 가상성의 감각을 탐구하는 영상 작품이다. 민속적 상상과 디지털 신체, 소우주적 상자와 가상 무대를 중첩하여 오늘날 전통이 어떻게 기술적 환경 안에서 재맥락화될 수 있는지를 사유하게 한다.

<Singidowon> is a video work that explores the sense of tradition and virtuality by placing the virtual rock band ‘Shingijeon’ in a miniature glass sphere. By overlapping folk imagination and digital body, microcosmic box and virtual stage, it makes us think about how tradition can be recontextualized in today’s technological environment.
